My family and I have lived in South Woodham Ferrers in the Chetwood & Collingwood Ward for 27 years. Community minded, my police career, was followed by a career in public sector management.
I supported the Essex Road Safety Forum, Essex Air Ambulance and Essex Police on road safety initiatives, I am also the founder and former Chairman of the Essex Advanced Motorcyclists Group of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
Keen to improve our community well-being I have served as a South Woodham Ferrers Town Councillor since 2006, and as Chelmsford City Councillor since 2011, and I seek to continue supporting and leading on local initiatives including Emergency Resilience, Neighbourhood Policing, Youth Initiatives and as representative of the SWF Health and Social Care Group.
I am a Trustee with a number of Voluntary organisations & Faith groups, a member of the Parochial Church Council and Vice Chair (and former Chairman) of Chelmsford Citizens Advice (CAB).
