We are your new Conservative candidates for Moulsham and Central.
We have chosen to stand for election in Moulsham and Central because this is our home and we want to play an active role in how it is run. Getting elected as councillors will give us more involvement and a stronger voice in the decisions that are made by the County and City Councils, Police and other partners.
We are committed to working with you to ensure Chelmsford remains the best place to live: a safe, well-connected and vibrant community, with the best infrastructure and well supported by public services.
About us
Kim Gisby
I live in Old Moulsham with my husband Rob and two young children. We take an active part in local life, appreciating family time in our local parks, getting involved in community initiatives and generally enjoying being part of a diverse, vibrant and growing City.
An active public servant, I have worked in Local Government for over ten years, in a variety of roles, primarily focused on improving services for children and families.
Fundamentally I am enthusiastic and energetic; committed to getting things done.
Seena Shah
After being listed as a top woman in digital by The Drum in 2015, I founded a marketing and communications agency, where I work with start ups and small businesses.
I have grown up in Old Moulsham and still live here now - it's my home. I hold several roles within the community - I am Vice Chair at Moulsham Junior School, Governor at Chelmsford College and Trustee at Openroad.
In my free time, I enjoy live music with my partner in the Moulsham Street pubs and can often be found at food festivals or new restaurants with my friends.
Ayman Syed
I have lived in Old Moulsham since 1998 and now live in a three- generational home, with my mother, my wife and our two children.
I have built a successful career in finance and commute to London for work. Since moving to Chelmsford, I have worked extensively with the Police, holding one of the highest civilian roles - chairing the Independent Advisory Group for Chelmsford and for Essex. I now coordinate a resident safety network in our area to build a stronger community and safer neighbourhood.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing volleyball, painting and hold a black belt in Kung Fu - Omni Martial Arts (IWKA UK).
Our Priorities:
The Best Place To Live
Our City centre is a great one and we want to work with the Moulsham Street Traders to spread this success and create a vibrant independent quarter, where small businesses thrive.
Keeping Us Moving
Working with the County Council and Army & Navy Taskforce to ensure that the appropriate infrastructure and public transport exist to keep our City moving as it grows.
Keeping Us Safe
We've been working with local residents to build a network which shares intelligence and builds relationships with our community policing teams. We have secured the 20mph speed limit across Old Moulsham and we will continue to work to ensure that this is well publicised and enforced.
Keeping Us Connected
Key to creating a strong and vibrant community is connecting local residents with one another, local businesses and amenities. Families feel well supported and social isolation and loneliness are reduced.
Vote Conservative
Our Conservative City Council has a strong record of delivering a vibrant City Centre that works for everyone. We will build on this success, working with the City and County Councillors for the benefit of residents in Moulsham and Central.
For a fresh young dynamic team with a vision for Chelmsford, vote Conservative on 2nd May.
